Yesterday, I ran to the store to pick up a few things.
While standing in the check-out line I glanced over at a woman
who was standing in the line, next register over.
Now, I know that there are people who run out in their slippers.
Some kids at my son's school actually wear them as shoes,
although some do look like shoes.
I've seen people wear these out and about,
which I can't understand why!
BUT...
You could imagine my surprise to glance over and see
this particular woman wearing a pair of these!!
Yup...
Complete with the legs stuffed into a pair of these:
with these on her feet.
Over top she was wearing a
short waisted zip up hooded off-white sweater.
Now, don't get me wrong-
there is absolutely nothing wrong with any of this
apparel/footwear.
My thing is to actually wear the pjs outside the house.
That being to a store.
I myself have worn my pjs outside the house,
but ONLY in the car
--where no one sees me--
to drop my son off at school in the morning.
I myself, would never, ever go out to the store
wearing my pajamas.
And the worst part about this woman is
that she actually did her make-up and hair.
Now if you have the time to do those, for crying out loud-
GET DRESSED!!!
^JUST ^j^ BELIEVE^

Oh Ree, it must have been me in line next to you. I am a PJ wearer all the time. I only get dressed when I go somewhere that I need to be in a some-what professional or decent outfit(i.e. working at the kids school, meeting my husband at work, usually out to eat) otherwise you can find me roaming about town in lounge wear(PJ's of some-sort:) It still drives Becca crazy, but she is no longer embarrassed by it:)
